At the Avalon seawatch site Saturday I was keeping company with several LAGU in very crisp alternate plumage. One bird had a definite pinkish wash throughout its breast area. I have seen this on alternate Franklin's but not on other hooded gulls. Is this unusual? Also, 124 Whimbrel at Shellbay.
