Yes, Belleplain State Forest is a great place for warblers. They are quite small, however, and it takes some practice to find a good variety. In spring, fortunately, many are singing, and each has a distinctive song which can be learned.
A great way to see the spring birds of Belleplain, and to learn about warblers and their haunts, is to go on one of the Cape May Bird Observatory walks there -- Thursday and Saturday mornings from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Just $10, discounted to $6 if you're a member of CMBO or the parent organization, the New Jersey Audubon Society.
Happy warblering -- with luck and persistence you can find more than 30 species at Belleplain this spring!
